Aftercare

Discover the importance of massage therapy aftercare to ensure you get the most out of your treatment. 

It's normal to feel deeply relaxed, light headed, or even a little sore the next day- like after a good workout.

This should ease within 24 - 48 hours. 

Hydration

Drink plenty of water after your massage. This helps flush out any toxins released and keeps your body hydrated. 


Rest and Relaxation

 Avoid any strenuous activity!

Gentle stretching or a short walk is fine, but leave vigorous workouts for tomorrow. 


Heat and Comfort

A warm bath or shower later in the day can ease any tenderness and support circulation. 

Avoid extremes of heat (sauna, steam rooms, hot tubs) immediately afterwards. 

Alcohol and Caffeine

Avoid drinking alcohol or caffeine for 48 hours after your massage.
